It allows access directly into the city centre at any time without traffic jams and having to look for a parking spot. swissconnect has been transporting consignments from one city to another in special closed-off train compartments for more than 20 years. The trains are loaded and unloaded directly by around 700 qualified bicycle and taxi couriers from across the country. We are the only courier company in Switzerland that is allowed to load directly onto the trains of 10 different railway companies. Our unique network of professional courier companies has specialised in sustainable express deliveries for companies throughout Switzerland since 1999 and is the market leader.

Combination of different means of transport

The railway network in Switzerland is very dense. The trains run punctually, at frequent intervals and have very low CO2 emissions. The stations are located directly in the city centres and thus offer perfect conditions for consignments of goods to be transported quickly and ecologically through Switzerland. For over 20 years, swissconnect has worked closely with ten different railway companies (SBB, BLS, RhB, etc.) and uses the existing train services for express deliveries. Our intelligent logistics software selects the appropriate means of transport to deliver your express shipment faster and more ecologically to its destination than any other courier service in Switzerland. Every urgent delivery is personally coordinated and monitored by trained swissconnect ag staff.

More than 500 bicycle couriers and 200 car couriers load and unload trains throughout Switzerland on behalf of swissconnect.

Our courier driver hands your consignment over to the recipient only against a signature – at the same time, you’ll receive confirmation of receipt by email. We work together with 80 qualified courier companies throughout Switzerland and form the largest network of express couriers across the country. This means that we always have more than 700 local couriers with various transportation means at your disposal.
