After 26 years at the helm of swissconnect ag, the founder Christoph Masoner (64) will hand over the operational management to an experienced three-person team as of 1 January 2026. Sabine Kuhn (37), Fabio Christen (48) and Michael Hauenstein (40) will take over the management of swissconnect ag. Masoner remains closely connected with the fastest and most sustainable courier service in his role as chair of the board.

Christoph Masoner founded swissconnect ag in 1999 and turned the company into the leading provider of sustainable express forwarding in Switzerland. Under his management, swissconnect developed from a pioneering idea into a nationwide network, which facilitated transport services via rail, bicycle and car, a model which is unique to date.
The change in management has been in the works for a while, with the management team gradually expanded to include new executives in recent years. Therefore, swissconnect is confident that its values, know-how and close relationships with its customers and the network will continue.
The board thanks Christoph Masoner for his extraordinary commitment and his visionary development. At the same time, it wishes the new management team every success with the continuation of the business.
